In order to prevent poor reflow, or uneven cooling, resulting in poor plastic molding, surface defects and deterioration, generally in the mold design, transparent plastic injection molding in the mold design should pay attention to the following six aspects:
1. the wall thickness should be as uniform as possible, and the draft angle should be large enough;
2. the transition part should be gradually and smoothly transitioned to prevent the occurrence of sharp corners and sharp edges. In particular, the molds for PC plastic products must not have gaps;
3. The gate and runner should be as wide and thick as possible, and the gate position should be set according to the shrinkage condensation process. If necessary, a cold trap should be added;
Fourth, the surface of the mold should be smooth and the roughness is low (preferably less than 0.8);
5. The venting holes and slots must be sufficient to discharge the air and the gas in the melt;
6. Except for PET, the wall thickness should not be too thin, generally not less than lmm.
